Baby Rundel #3 (aka chubby cheeks)

Well folks here is the latest ultrasound photo of our newest family member. This is a straight on shot of the babies face notice those chubby little cheeks! As far as we can see form the ultrasound the baby is doing well and looks very much like Isaac did when he was born. We have entered the final weeks or really the final ten days or so of this little ones much anticipated arrival. We go in for an amnio on April 10th to make sure that all is well with the babies lung developement and if all is well the baby will be delivered via c-section later that week! WOW! We are just about as prepared as we will ever be for the big day. Please pray for us all, that it will go easily and that there will be no unwelcome surprises. We can't wait to share photos of the baby that don't have to be taken through ultrasound, and can refer to our bundle of joy by name!

Big Boy Bed

Here he is, our boy asleep for the first nap in his big boy twin bed! We had it delivered this morning and Isaac loves it already. as soon as i started putting the sheet on he said "its bob! and larry!" he really likes bob and larry from the veggie tales stories, so tom and i picked up this bedding set several months ago at a second hand shop. He seems to be adjusting to the whole transition from his toddler bed rather well. he only got out one time after i put him down for his nap and that was all. to be honest Isaac has been ready for the transition for quite some time now, it is tom and i who have been kind of dragging our feet about it. i guess it has taken us a while to accept the fact that he truly is getting to be such a big boy!

here is another picture of isaac being a little helper. this time he is helping me wash the window in our front door. he is using paper towel, just like mama taught him, and saying "im washin' the window" he did a great job, except this particular piece of paper towel had peanut butter all over it, which is why the dog was busy "helping" too. oh well its the thought that counts!

although isaac has been making a transition into being a daddy's boy, he still finds time to be my little guy too. here we are making some cookies, and isaac got to hold the mixer all by himself! he was very proud of this accomplishment and so was i!

daddy's little helper

isaac has been becoming quite the little daddy's boy lately. here he is helping tom give mazzy a bath. he picked the perfect time to start being attached to his daddy, since the baby will be here before we know it. its kinda sad but wonderful at the same time. he has been attached to my hip for three years, and i know that tom is loving every minute of his new fame in isaac's eyes. we knew the day was coming when playing boy stuff with daddy would compete with cuddling with mama, and it has been a very good transition for us all. i love seeing the joy on isaac's face and then toms when isaac runs to him and says Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!
